Michael became Olivet's Pastor on 22 Aug 2021 . He is married to his wife Sarah. They have four children (Izabel 18, Judah 14, Johannah 9, and Josiah 4). His family moved to Lawton in May 2020. Prior to the move they lived in Tacoma, Washington. Michael is employed by the Department of the Army serving the Fort Sill community as Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention Program Manager.

He completed a Masters in Christian Counseling as well as a Masters in Divinity from Faith International College and Seminary. Michael served as a Clinical Chaplain for Franciscan Health Services and delivered numerous intervention workshops to support community leaders. He is ordained by the Evangelical Church Alliance. Michael served 8 years in the Armed Services.

Michael felt a strong call to pastoral church ministry in 2018. Through God’s providence, he moved from Tacoma, WA into a house less than 1 mile from our church, eventually answering the call to pastor our congregation.

Outside of serving God’s people, His passion is studying and teaching historical church doctrine. Michael demonstrates strong convictions that ground him in biblical truth. Michael is Gospel centered at his core. This comes out as he proclaims and defends the faith we have in Christ with passion, gentleness, and kindness.
